The book is written by Dav Pilkey. It is a fictional chapter book. This book is about these two kids named George and Harold and they create a super hero named Captain under Pants (A.K.A there insanely cruel old principal Mr. Krupp.) They are under attack by evil lunchroom zombie nerds and evil alien lunch ladies. It’s up to Captain under Pants, George and Harold to save the day.

One of the most memorable moments is when George and Harold give the regular lunch ladies a recipe for exploding cupcakes. The ingredients are the ones that you use to make homemade volcanoes. When the lunch ladies add the vinegar the whole school becomes flooded with goop.

This book is just right for someone who enjoys super heroes in fancy underwear but in this case not so fancy underwear and comedy with hilarious pictures and dialogue.

My overall recommendation is excellent because captain under pants is a good read with a good amount of words and clear pictures. The words are very easy to understand.

Emily, Jenna and Lj. The three best friends in the world until one day when a girl named Aubrey comes to the group. I didn’t know if they would but they did. It was an okay choice. I know it was an okay choice because Aubrey misses EVERTHING! She misses movies, b-days and babysitting when it was her idea. Let me tell you more about that sinareo. [But in the next paragraph.]

A scary part was when Emily had to babysit 2 horrible terrifying 2 year old twins all alone. If there was a scratch or bump or bruise on them she wouldn’t forget it. Aubrey had a no show again, Poor Emily! An amazing part was when Aubrey, Jenna and Lj did a song from Hair Spray for the swim club talent show what was it called oh yah ‘’you can’t stop the beat’’ THEY WON! I loved that song. Emily and her crush [Tyler] did a song from the movie ‘’Grease.’’ It was the song when they where at the lunch table and talking about there summer. I also loved that song.

If you like a bit of mystery parts, amazing parts and crazy parts then you will LOVE this book. This is an excellent book.

Her parents go out of town for a week so Ellie and her monkey boy brother Ben-Ben have to spend it with her annoying, snobby and stuck up cousins, not to mention her aunt Mug and uncle Edwig (a.k.a. aunt Ug and uncle Earwig). Oh, I forgot! They have to spend that week not in a nice house, but in a little cabin in the woods! This book is full of adventure and comedy from start to finish.

One of the most memorable moments was when Ellie and her cousins went on “The big horrible hike”. This book is about a teenager named Alex Rider and he meets his uncle’s bosses and becomes a spy just to finish his uncle’s mission and be able to go more places as a spy.

The most memorable moments are when Alex was training with a bunch of adults that weren’t friendly and when Alex was sneaking around headquarters.

This book is just right for someone who enjoys Daren Shan books or Harry Potter books because it is a lot like them.

The overall recommendation is excellent.

I gave this book this recommendation because it has very interesting parts. How he became a spy is very interesting.

The book The English Roses Friend for Life by Madonna is about five friends from England that formed a club called the English roses. The book shows there personalities and favorite foods, games and activities they like to do all together. They all have different personalities because Binahs personality is classy and serious and Amy’s is Fashionable and stylish and Grace is sporty and loves music and there are Nicole and charlotte who are both very polite but Charlotte is a little bit more. It shows there hopes and dreams and who they want to meet and want to be like. Grace wants to meet David Beckham who is her idol. All of the other girls have hopes and dreams but I can’t write them all. The book is filled with quizzes and tips about homework and lots of other fun activities. They have embarrassing moments and there is a quiz at the back to see which English rose you are. The best part is there just like you!

Some of the most memorable moments were when I read that Grace’s idol is David Beckham just like mine. Also when the quiz showed that I was just like Amy who is a fashion queen. I also thought that it was kind of weird was that Binahs guilty pleasure was hot bubble baths and that Nicole’s guilty pleasure was watching episodes of Little Rascals and Shirley Temple movies.

This book is just right for someone who enjoys girl stuff and different personalities also if they want to start a club this is a great book to read.

My overall recommendation is Double excellent because it’s a book that you want to find more about and it is really good for girls to read.

A read-alike to this book is basically all of the other English Roses books because there is a new adventure every time.
